Love affair: fingerless mitts and mohair

I like mohair. I do not know why. I know other people find it itchy but somehow i don't.
I'm in the middle of making myself another pair of fingerless mitts. These are out of some nice cream mohair. Easy peasy pattern: Cast on 32 stitches ( i do it twice on the same needle with 2 balls of wool so i can make two at a time). K1 p1 rib for whatever amount of time suits your fancy. For these, i'm using a little leaf pattern. Once they are done i'll get a picture and put the pattern up.
I'm not sure how i got addicted to wearing fingerless mitts but i am. And my hands don't seem to get as stiff any more, so maybe there's something good to it :).
I still wonder why i like mohair though...
