Carrot Ginger Cashew soup

On a rainy day it's really great if a guy brings you Carrot Ginger Cashew soup.
MMM i say. He can't eat it, since it has nuts but it's very good.
I knit up a pair of plain black fingerwarmers for Kent today. Size 5mm needles, some Briggs and Little in black. Cast 32 stitches on a size 5mm needle, knit1p1 ribbing for an inch. Increase each end once, stockinetter for 6 inches, k1p1 for an inch. Sew the side at the ribbings only. They fit perfectly and will allow him to knit at the bus stop while keeping a bit warm :)
I have packages to mail that he was going to do the other day and forgot so hopefully they will be out tomorrow.
I'm so cranky today i don't even want to look at people for fear they will think i'm giving them the evil eye
